Background: The Alliance for Children and Families has received a $100,000, 8-month planning grant from the Atlantic Philanthropies in order to establish the parameters for a new approach to geriatric and gerontological social services. We're excited to invite your agency to actively join in the planning process that will ultimately conclude with a grant proposal to the Atlantic Philanthropies for a $2.5 million, 5-year plan to transform current practice to initiate this new approach. The monies will directly assist Alliance member agencies in building capabilities for serving older adults, an area of social services that will see dramatic increases as our society ages.

Purpose of survey:
To identify the range and type of Alliance developmental and supportive programming for older adults (60+). Your answers will determine the substance of the project (described above) and will assure our joint receipt of the grant. All Alliance members are urged to participate, including those who do not offer services to older adults.

Time Required:
We estimate that it will take 8 to 10 minutes to complete this survey.
