Introduction
The 2008 U.S. compensation survey is a web-based survey open to all
members of the Alliance for Children and Families,
the United Neighborhood Centers of America,
and the American Association of Children's
Residential Centers. The
purpose of this survey is to gather salary and benefit data,
which will constitute the factual basis of the published report Human Services Compensation in
the United States: 2008. As a survey participant, your
agency will automatically receive a complimentary copy of this report, which will be published in June 2008.
Recommendations
We strongly recommend printing out hard copies of both the
definitions of surveyed positions and the survey instrument (see
below). Prepare your data in advance using the printed survey
instrument.
This will be helpful because the online survey lacks a "pause
and
resume" feature. If you require a precise imprint of your
survey,
you should print each completed screen individually, as there is no
utility to print the complete set of screens. Alternatively, your
prepared hard copy of the survey can serve as your record.
Timeframe
We estimate that your preparation of data will take a maximum of 30 minutes and, with your data in hand, the online submission should take
approximately 15 minutes or less.
